Foes FXR Mountain Bike - XTR, Fox, Chris King, Thomson, Maxxis, Salsa,

The time has come to sell my Foes FXR Mountain Bike.
I built this bike custom from the ground up back in ~2009, and spared absolutely no expense at that time. All of the components on this bike are the highest quality possible (at the time), and have been well cared for. The frame is a size Large, but it's worth noting that Foes did not make XL frames. I am 6'3" tall and like my bikes to be on the smaller side (thanks to my early days of BMX Riding). If you are shorter than 6'0" you will likely want to install shorter stem the bring the bars back in closer to you. Anyone down to 5'8" should be able to ride this bike comfortably, but might need to shorten the seatpost to enable it to drop lower.
I worked in a bike shop for 5 years, so I'm a bit of a bike nerd, and I got good discounts to build this thing, but the retail value back then was approaching $8,000. I rode it a LOT for the first 3 years, but since then my riding frequency has dropped to about 10x rides a year unfortunately. So, the bike certainly shows signs of wear and tear, but it is in great condition, and still performs exceptionally well. Apologies for it not being spotlessly clean in the pictures, I gave it a wipedown, but didn't do a full teardown... I'll let you do that, which you should anyway on a used bike.
That said, I did do a few things to make this bike ready for you to ride for years to come:

The Fork has just been serviced by Fluid Focus in San Diego... buttery smooth!

The Rear shock has just been completely rebuilt with all new seals, o-rings, valves and oil by Free-Ride Italy (yes, I sent it to and from Italy to be serviced by the leading Curnutt shock expert. Told you, I'm a dork.).

Both front and rear Maxxis DHF tires are brand new and haven't been ridden yet.
